Two Rivers Cattery has been offering luxury cat boarding since 2019. Our cattery is built to the highest possible standard – purpose-built with the comfort and safety of our residents in mind.

Ran by Janine Needham, a keen animal lover with her own pets who you'll likely meet when you come and look around! Alongside her own experience, Janine has completed courses in animal care, animal management and grooming.

Accommodation

Room to stretch out, whatever the weather

Each pen is professionally built to accommodate up to four cats, so if you have just one or two they'll enjoy the extra room. The indoor part incorporates a snug, heated area for eating and sleeping, leading onto a spacious outdoor run. Boarding includes bedding and a litter tray, and every unit is cleaned daily.

Owners are welcome to bring their own blankets and bedding, provided they've been thoroughly washed before arrival.

An idyllic, easy-to-find setting

Located at the end of Marsh Lane, just past the Dolphin Inn, but far enough away for your cat to enjoy the peace and quiet of the countryside. We're six miles from the motorway, five miles from Preston city centre and fifteen from Southport.

What to bring, and what we ask of every guest

Food & treats

With the growing cost of food and litter, we no longer provide cat food or treats — please bring your cat's favourite brands for their stay.

Vaccinations

We don't accept cats that haven't been fully vaccinated. Boosters should be up to date yearly, and certificates must be shown on arrival. We also recommend cats are current on flea and worm treatment.
